In the Serdob district, a man hit his wife with a stool after a feast on the birthday of his great-grandson

In the Serdob district of the Penza region, the celebration of the birthday of the great-grandson ended in a family conflict and a criminal case.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Serdob district, a 69-year-old local resident contacted the police, who said that her husband, born in 1956, caused her bodily injuries.

During the proceedings, the man admitted his guilt and told the district about the circumstances of the incident. According to him, the couple consumed alcohol together, celebrating the birthday of the great-grandson. At some point there was a conflict between them.

During the quarrel, the man could not restrain his emotions, grabbed a wooden stool and hit his wife on the head several times.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under paragraph “in” of Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The offence is punishable by up to two years' imprisonment.
