In Sevastopol arrested the Director of law firm, defrauded nine clients for 640 thousand

The court of Sevastopol chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention for the 44-year-old director of Sevastopol Center of Law LLC. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor’s office of Crimea.

The man has been charged with fraud. According to the investigation, the head of the company found citizens who needed help in drawing up claims. He received payment from them, but did not plan to fulfill his obligations.

At the moment, at least nine victims, mostly elderly, are involved in the case. The total amount of damage caused to them is 640 thousand rubles. The identification of others who may have been injured in similar circumstances continues.

It is known that in October 2025, the Leninsky District Court of Sevastopol has already found this man guilty of another episode of fraud on an especially large scale. Then he was sentenced to suspended imprisonment, but he did not take the path of correction and continued his illegal activities under the guise of providing legal services.

The Prosecutor’s office supported the petition of the investigation on the strictest measure of restraint during the investigation. This is necessary to eliminate the influence of the accused on victims and witnesses, as well as to prevent new crimes.

Earlier it was reported about the arrest of the accused. Searches were conducted at his place of residence and in the office of the law firm. Contracts for the provision of services and other documents confirming the illegal activity of the defendant were seized.
