In Severodvinsk, the police discovered the theft of money at the point of issue of orders. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Arkhangelsk region.

In mid-May, the police of Severodvinsk received a report of theft of money from the point of issue of one of the marketplaces. The incident occurred in the city store.

Criminal investigation officers conducted operational-search measures and detained the suspect, a 33-year-old local resident who did not work.

According to the investigation, the woman was a customer of the issue point and knew that the metal roller does not completely close the entrance. She came to the store before the point opened, lifted the roller and made her way inside. In the cash register, she found a box of checks and an envelope of money. Taking 30 thousand rubles, the woman returned the envelope to the place and in a similar way left the room.

She gave the stolen money to a friend in debt.

A criminal case was initiated under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft with illegal penetration”. The suspect faces up to five years in prison. An investigation is under way.
