In Severodvinsk, a man robbed a 10-year-old girl

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Arkhangelsk region.

On the eve of about 15:30, the schoolgirl and her friend were returning from music school. At 46 Karl Marx Street, an unknown man approached them and demanded that the girl give him the folder she was holding. It contained textbooks and a mobile phone.

Frightened, the girl fulfilled the request, after which the attacker fled. When she returned home, she told her parents what had happened.

An hour after the father’s appeal to the police, the suspect was identified and detained by criminal investigation officers on one of the city streets. He was a 53-year-old resident of Severodvinsk. The man was seized stolen from the child things.

A criminal case has been opened on the robbery. The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for up to four years. An inquest is underway.
