In Severodvinsk, the teacher was convicted for bullying children

In Severodvinsk sentenced the former teacher of the kindergarten “Winnie the Pooh” for the torture of children. This was reported in the press service of the Prosecutor’s office of the Arkhangelsk region and the NAO.

The state prosecution proved the guilt of the 46-year-old defendant under paragraphs "a" and "d" of part 2 of article 117 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation - torture of two minors, knowingly in a helpless state and other dependence - and under article 156 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation - improper performance of duties for the upbringing of children by a teacher obliged to monitor them, coupled with cruel treatment.

It was established that the woman worked as a teacher in kindergarten No. 74 "Winnie the Pooh" combined form. She was supposed to look after the children. Dissatisfied with the behavior of three pupils born in 2024, from February to April 2026, she used unacceptable methods of upbringing combined with cruel treatment. For two children – systematically, one – once. She inflicted beatings and committed other violent acts that caused the children physical pain and mental suffering.

For a set of crimes, the court imposed a punishment of 3 years 1 month of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of 2 years. She was also banned from engaging in activities related to the upbringing of minors, supervision and care for them for 2 years.

Earlier, according to the results of an internal inspection, the convict was dismissed from an educational institution for negative reasons.

Due to the revealed violations in the work of the kindergarten, which made it possible to commit these crimes, the prosecutor made a submission to the head of Severodvinsk. He was satisfied, and the head of the kindergarten and his deputy were disciplined.
