In Shuya, the court arrested a gang that forced victims to take loans

Shuysk city court detained four residents of Ivanovo, who organized a brutal kidnapping for the purpose of theft of credit funds. The men were arrested for 1 month and 29 days.

In June, the attackers found the victim through the social network “Vkontakte”, offering a meeting with the girl in Shuya. When the man arrived at the scene, he was attacked, beaten and, wearing masks, taken to the forest in the Lezhnevsky district.

Threatening with a knife, the criminals took the victim’s phone, issued applications in mobile banks and kept him in a rented apartment for about two days, waiting for the money to be credited. After receiving the funds, they forced the man to transfer them to their accounts.

Four men aged between 19 and 33. They were charged under Part 3 of Art. 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (abduction of a person by an organized group of selfish motives). This is a particularly serious crime, which is punishable up to 15 years in prison.
