In Simferopol, a local resident who tried to kill a friend will appear in court

The Prosecutor’s office of the Railway district of Simferopol approved the indictment in the case of a local resident accused of attempted murder. This was reported in the press service of the Prosecutor’s office of Crimea.

According to the preliminary investigation, in May 2026, the accused drank alcoholic beverages with a friend at home. There was a conflict between the men because of jealousy.

During the quarrel, the accused struck a friend several blows to the head with a metal object that looks like a saber. The victim suffered an open traumatic brain injury.

The man could not complete the plan - the victim managed to escape from the attacker.

The man is charged with part 3 of article 30 and part 1 of article 105 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation – attempted murder. The criminal case with the approved indictment was transferred to the court for consideration on the merits.
