In Sochi, a 36-year-old man was accused of justifying terrorism in the messenger

In Sochi, a 36-year-old local resident was accused of publicly justifying terrorism on the Internet. A criminal case was opened by the investigative department in the Adler district of the city.

From December 2025 to April 2026, the man left comments in one of the messengers justifying terrorism under various publications, the press service of the SU TFR in the Krasnodar Territory told. They were available to an unlimited number of users. Illegal activities were identified and stopped by law enforcement officers.

During interrogation, the accused pleaded guilty. The investigator of the TFR together with employees of the regional department of the FSB conducted a search at the place of residence of the man. Law enforcement officers seized mobile devices from which he accessed the Internet. Operational support in the case is carried out by employees of the FSB of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory. Investigations are continuing.
