In Sochi, a 31-year-old woman took away her motorcycle after checking her driver’s license

In the Khostinsky district, traffic police officers removed a local resident from driving a motorcycle who did not have the necessary driver category. The vehicle was evacuated to a specialized parking lot.

State traffic police officers stopped a 31-year-old woman during a motorcycle ride in the Khostinsky district of the resort.

When checking the documents, it turned out that the driver did not have the right to drive a vehicle of the corresponding category.

An administrative protocol was drawn up against the violator. The motorcycle was detained and sent to a special parking lot.

Driving a vehicle without the relevant right falls under part 1 of article 12.7 of the administrative code of the Russian Federation. The sanction of the article provides for a fine from 5 thousand to 15 thousand rubles.

However, the presence of a driver's license of another category does not in itself allow driving a motorcycle. For travel on such transport it is necessary to have the appropriate category or subcategory depending on the characteristics of the vehicle.
