At least 35 people died in Tanzania as a result of a head-on collision of an intercity bus with a truck carrying logs. This was reported by the newspaper The Tanzania Times, citing rescue services.

The incident occurred in the area of Morogoro in the southwest of the country. According to the publication, the accident happened last night: the driver of the truck tried to overtake, but did not calculate the maneuver, and his car crashed into the bus, moving in the opposite direction.

After the collision, both cars flared up and burned completely. Investigators are working at the scene near the village of Mkambarani. Other details about the number of victims and the circumstances of the tragedy are not given.

Two teenagers died in an accident while riding a motorcycle.

A young driver without a license caused an accident - three people were injured.
