In Tomsk, the “sweet tooth thief” took out of chocolate stores almost 20 thousand rubles
The young man put the tiles in a bag and hid under his jacket

Employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Leninsky district of Tomsk identified and detained a previously convicted local resident born in 1999. A young man is suspected of stealing chocolate from several shops in the city.
According to preliminary data, Tomich approached the shelves with chocolate, folded the tiles in a bag and hid under a jacket. One of these moments was caught on CCTV: the recording shows that the seller noticed “sweet”, but he ignored the requirement to stop and fled.
After the arrest, the defendant explained to the police that he planned to sell the stolen goods, but found no buyers. As a result, he ate half of the stolen goods himself, and distributed the rest to strangers on the street. The total damage amounted to more than 17 thousand rubles.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated on violations.
