In the Tula region calculated serial kidnappers of cattle from pastures

In the Tula region detained two men suspected of stealing calves from the pasture of the agricultural enterprise. But the case did not end there, the police dug deeper and found out during the investigation that the accomplices were involved in at least 15 episodes of cattle theft, told MK in Tula in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tula region.

The trial began after the police “Arsenyevskoye” MO MIA of Russia “Belevsky” appealed to the representative of the security service of the local agricultural enterprise. He reported that two calves were missing from the fenced pasture. Preliminary damage was estimated at about 350 thousand rubles.

The operatives quickly identified the alleged perpetrators of the crime. They were local residents 26 and 39 years old. One of the men had previously been prosecuted for similar crimes. Both detainees pleaded guilty.

During further work with the suspects, the police identified new episodes of their activities. According to preliminary data, men may be involved in at least 15 more cattle thefts. As established by the operatives, one of the accomplices slaughtered animals directly on pastures, after which the men loaded the carcasses into the car, took them away and butchered them for subsequent sale.

The investigative unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Belevsky” opened a criminal case on theft committed by a group of persons on preliminary conspiracy with illegal entry into the premises or other storage. Now the issue of choosing a preventive measure by the suspect is being decided.
