In Ulan-Ude, a citizen jumped on the roof of someone else’s car for 200 thousand rubles

In the evening in Ulan-Ude, a 40-year-old local resident addressed the police department, who announced the alarm on his car standing in the yard. As told in the interior Ministry in Buryatia, going out, he found a stranger who jumped on the roof of his car.

Local citizens handed over the detainee to police patrol officers. Together with the owner of the vehicle, they prevented the illegal actions of the attacker. He is a 43-year-old man previously convicted of embezzlement and other property violations.

According to him, he climbed onto the concrete fence, saw a standing car and moved to the roof, where he began to walk and jump. Reason? He was in a state of alcoholic intoxication. The damage to the owner of the car, according to his calculations, reached 200 thousand rubles.

There is a direct loss, but the citizen violated Article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for liability for intentional damage or destruction of someone else’s property. Apparently, the jumper's hangover was heavy.
