Nod man sentenced to probation for beating neighbor with baseball bat

The court in Uzlovaya sentenced in a criminal case of causing serious harm to the health of a 43-year-old man. It was established that the incident occurred on December 30, 2025 on the staircase of an apartment building on Central Street in the village of Kamenetsky. The accused, who was in a state of alcoholic intoxication, entered into a verbal conflict with a resident of the house. During the quarrel, he struck the victim at least two punches in the face, and then hit him with a baseball bat on the head. The injuries were classified as serious harm to health.

Taking into account the position of the public prosecutor, the court found the defendant guilty and sentenced him to two years of suspended imprisonment with a probation period of two years.
