In the Kamyshinsky district, traffic police officers stopped a Chevrolet car. The driver was a 36-year-old man living in the city of Petrov Val.
During the check of documents, the police suspected that the driver was intoxicated. The results of the medical examination confirmed that alcohol is present in the man’s body.
According to the State Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Volgograd region, when checking the databases, it turned out that this citizen already had an administrative penalty for a similar violation - earlier he was appointed 10 days of administrative arrest for driving a vehicle in a drunken state.
Given the repeated nature of the offense, a criminal case was initiated against the driver under part 1 of Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The sanctions of the article provide for a punishment of up to 2 years in prison.
