In Volzhsk injured worker received compensation

In June last year, the miller, stumbling, suffered a hand injury at the workplace. At that time, he worked in the organization for more than a year and a half. The inspection showed that the main cause of the accident was the negligence of the employer, who did not provide safe working conditions. True, the miller himself showed carelessness, without which there would be no injury.

The Volga interdistrict prosecutor's office appealed to the court with a claim to recover from the employer compensation for moral damage. Representatives of the company claimed that the employee himself committed a safety violation. However, the court agreed with the prosecutor's office and ordered the organization to pay the worker 60 thousand rubles.
