With the support of the Association of Lawyers of Russia and the TFR, a round table was held on the topic “National Legal Journal “Man and Law” – the legacy of A.Y. Sukharev”.
Active participation in the round table was taken by Advisor to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation A.V. Fedorov, Rector of the Moscow Academy of the Investigative Committee of Russia named after A.Y. Sukharev A.A. Bessonov and employees of the Department of Social and Political Work of the Investigative Committee of Russia. The meeting was also attended by the Governor of the Yaroslavl region M. Y. Evraev, the head of the investigative Department of the IC of Russia in the Yaroslavl region A. A. Bessmeltsev, a member of the Presidium of the Association of lawyers of Russia A. I. Alexandrov, representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of the Yaroslavl region, the legal, scientific, cultural community and the public. There were clergymen, representatives of confessions.
The leading scientific event was the rector of YarSU, the chairman of the Yaroslavl regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia, the chairman of the public council of the SU IC of Russia for YaO Ivanchin Artem Vladimirovich.
The topic of discussion was the legal, journalistic and scientific heritage of Alexander Yakovlevich Sukharev, legal scholar, publicist, specialist in the field of criminal law and the initiator of the creation of the journal “Man and Law”, a publication that revealed the intricacies of legal science, investigative case and law enforcement to residents of the USSR and Russia.
Sukharev’s leading article “Your Law, Citizen!” in the first issue of the magazine set the vector of the entire editorial policy of the publication: to make the law clear to the ordinary person, to show how laws work in everyday life.
Despite all the political changes in the life of the country, the magazine remains relevant and popular publication. Both in the professional sphere and among ordinary citizens of the Russian Federation interested in domestic and foreign law.
Governor of the Yaroslavl region Mikhail Evraev greeted the audience and made a felt speech about the importance of working in the legal field and legal education.
