In the Yaroslavl region, a heavy truck flattened “Opel” when turning

In the Yaroslavl region late Sunday evening on the highway FAD R-132 "Golden ring" near Tunoshna there was a fatal accident involving a heavy truck and a passenger car.

According to the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate, on October 11 at 21:00 min, the 45-year-old driver of the Scania heavy truck with a Schmitz trailer was not attentive enough when performing a turn on the track. The car under his control collided with the Opel car, which was moving in a passing direction.

As a result of the accident, the car received severe damage. And the driver of the Opel car, a man, 59, died from his injuries at the scene before the ambulance crew arrived.

At the scene of the accident, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate, the investigative and operational group work, all the circumstances of the incident are established.
