According to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, police officers received operational information, after which they searched the house of a man born in 1963. During the inspection, law enforcement officers found and seized a smoothbore gun, the barrel of which was illegally converted into rifled weapons.

To do this, he sawed off part of the barrel and installed a previously found cone tube designed for a 7.62 mm cartridge.
On the fact of the incident, criminal cases were initiated under part 1 of Article 222 and part 1 of Article 223 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, providing for liability for illegal trafficking and manufacture of weapons.
