“Your child is in trouble!”: how scammers divorce Pskov parents through children’s bank cards
Attackers have found a new, heartbreaking vulnerability of parents

Attackers have found a new, heartbreaking vulnerability of parents. According to the study, fraudsters began to call Pskov citizens en masse, posing as bank or police officers.
The caller, in an excited voice, reports that a suspicious operation has just taken place on the child’s bank card. To “save” money and cancel the transaction, the parent is prompted to click on the link and enter the data. Of course, this is a phishing site, and as soon as the victim enters the information, the money disappears from the account.
To turn off a person’s critical thinking, scammers put pressure on the patient: they rush, scare with criminal liability or trouble for a teenager.
