Dengue is transmitted by infected insects. In severe course, the disease can lead to bleeding, vomiting and respiratory failure.

In October, this was the second case of dengue among tourists from Russia in Vietnam. Earlier, a girl from the suburbs fell ill: in Danang she was bitten by a yellow fever mosquito.
