In Vladimir, a migrant courier stole half a million rubles from a pensioner

In March, a 26-year-old foreign citizen found an offer of easy earnings in the messenger. The task was simple: take packages from people at the specified addresses and transfer them to the “employer”. Despite the fact that the man understood the dubious nature of this activity, the thirst for profit took over.

Soon his criminal "call center" found the victim. A resident of the regional center called under the guise of security forces and stated the need to declare all available money and valuables to avoid blocking accounts. A frightened pensioner handed the courier 480 thousand rubles and jewelry.

After receiving a bag of money, the 26-year-old accomplice tried to leave the city, but was blocked in time by police. Deputy Prosecutor Vladimir approved the indictment, and now the courier faces up to 10 years in prison in the case of an organized criminal group.
