The driver from Lodeynoy Field twice sat down on the bike drunk and can go to prison

Lodeynopol prosecutor's office completed the investigation and approved the charge against the driver for repeated driving while under the influence. This was reported in the press service of the Prosecutor’s office of the Leningrad region.

A man born in 2000 from Lodeyny Field was charged with two offences under the article “driving a vehicle in a state of intoxication by a person subjected to administrative punishment or having a criminal record”.

In the past, the young man had already been deprived of his driver’s license and had an administrative penalty for refusing to undergo a medical examination for alcohol intoxication. On the night of May 23, the Leningrader sat behind the wheel of a motorcycle, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication. When trying to escape from the persecution, he was stopped by employees of the State Auto Inspection.

On July 15, a 26-year-old resident of Leningrad region, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, again sat behind the wheel of a motorcycle. Vehicles belonging to the accused were seized by law enforcement agencies.

The issue of possible confiscation of the motorcycle will be decided in criminal proceedings. The case was transferred to the Lodeinopol City Court for further consideration.
