Driver with fake license detained in Kaliningrad region
In the Guryevsky district of the Kaliningrad region, traffic police inspectors stopped a 37-year-old foreigner who presented a fake driver's license. The document raised suspicions among police during an inspection in the village of Khrabrovo.

In the Guryevsky district of the Kaliningrad region, traffic police inspectors stopped a 37-year-old foreigner who presented a fake driver's license. The document raised suspicions among police during an inspection in the village of Khrabrovo.
The man showed national rights of one of the republics of Central Asia. Upon close inspection, traffic police officers noticed signs of forgery and called the investigative team.
The examination confirmed that the certificate was made illegally. The suspect said he purchased the document abroad.
A criminal case was opened against the driver under part 1 of Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on forgery and trafficking of fake documents. Under this article, he could face up to two years in prison.
