As the investigation established, in April 2026, a 22-year-old employee of the issuing point of one of the city's electronics stores brought four new mobile phones of premium brands from the warehouse. To prevent the shortage from opening, the young man placed foreign devices in factory boxes and put them back on the shelves.
The total cost of the stolen exceeded 500 thousand rubles, which qualifies as a large amount. The actions of the attacker were investigated under paragraph "c" of part 3 of article 158 of the criminal code.
During the proceedings, the defendant fully admitted guilt and voluntarily covered the damage caused to the store. Taking into account the position of the representative of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Railway District, who supported the prosecution, the court imposed a fine of 200 thousand rubles.
