A case was opened after the death of a girl in a fire in Tatarstan because of a router

A criminal case was instituted after the death of a 14-year-old girl in a fire in the Baltasinsky district, the SU of the TFR reports.

The tragedy occurred in the village of Old Salaus the day before. At night, a single-storey private house caught fire, according to the preliminary version, because of a flashed Wi-Fi router in one of the rooms. The owner of the house, his wife and 17-year-old daughter managed to get out of the burning house, the 14-year-old girl was carried out by firefighters. In the hospital, doctors declared death.

A criminal case was opened for causing death by negligence.
