Doctors diagnosed brain swelling in teenager after bear attack

A teenager injured by a bear attack in Altai is unconscious in a Barnaul hospital. Previously, doctors diagnosed him with swelling of the brain. This was reported by the Telegram-channel “Vklo 22” with reference to a source close to the family of the student.

The doctors gathered a consultation and decided to transfer the patient to a Moscow hospital. The flight is scheduled for 12 nights. The teenager's mother will fly with her son.

Previously, the victim was taken to Barnaul from Biysk. His condition was assessed as severe but stable. The teenager was removed from vasopressor support. After the attack, surgeons operated on him for three hours. An operation was launched to search for the bear.
