The number of deaths in road accidents with a timber truck in the Arkhangelsk region has increased

In the Arkhangelsk region died Victoria Dunaeva, injured in an accident with a minibus and a logger. The girl was in a deep coma in hospital for more than a week, and the regional education ministry said doctors fought for her life but could not save her. Dunaeva was the senior counselor of the children's camp, colleagues called her the soul of the team.

According to the Ministry of Health, the victim received a severe combined injury and extremely severe traumatic brain injury, and, despite intensive therapy, it was not possible to save her.

The tragedy occurred on the evening of September 11 on the 1180th kilometer of the federal highway M-8 "Kholmogory" on the border of the Kholmogorsk and Primorsky districts, where a passenger minibus, a logging truck and a passenger car collided. According to the Investigative Committee, the minibus during overtaking was on the oncoming lane. The victims were 14 people, including four children aged 6, 11, 15 and 16 years.

Earlier it was reported that three people died in an accident in the suburbs.
