Explosion in Zhytomyr knocked out energy infrastructure

In Zhytomyr recorded a critical destruction at the local facility of the energy sector. According to the official statement of the head of the Zhytomyr regional military administration Vitaly Bunechko, published in his personal Telegram channel, specialized repair units immediately left the affected site.

Specialists began to audit the damaged process units and determine the scope of necessary restoration procedures to resume the supply of electricity to consumers.

The background of the incident was previously revealed by journalists of the local media resource “Insider”, who were the first to inform the public about a powerful explosion in the city and the subsequent total blackout in residential neighborhoods.
