Yaroslavl was the leader where it would be more prestigious to be in the outsiders

We are talking about the increase in the number of deaths in road accidents with buses.

In the CFD, the region is the first in this indicator, in the country - in the top three.

According to the deputy head of the regional traffic police Alexander Kolesov, for nine months in the region there were 868 accidents – 100 people were killed, 1800 were injured. The share of accidents with public transport was 12 percent. This is twice the national and CFD average.

Due to the fault of bus drivers, 32 accidents occurred, two people were killed, 76 were injured. One cannot but say that accidents with tourist buses made a significant contribution to statistics: 31 people were injured in the Uglich district, 10 in Yaroslavl. The fact that Moscow carriers also noted here is not consoling.

The number of violations by carriers is also increasing. This year, inspectors have already issued 958 protocols, which is a third more than last year, another 5,138 violations recorded by cameras – last year there were 2,300 such violations.

It was also noted that conversations with drivers alone are not enough, it is necessary that the public also monitor how bus drivers behave on the roads.
