A carefully thought-out deception began with a message from an unknown person who introduced himself as a law enforcement officer. He was the one who convinced us of the need to save money by transferring it to where it would be safe.

The legend of the treasury sounded convincing, and the woman, following the instructions of the scammers, withdrew some of the funds in the bank and transferred them to an unknown young man in one of the yards of the Zavolzhsky district. Then she transferred money twice through “intermediaries”. And in the end, everything that she had was transferred through an ATM to the specified “safe account of the Treasury”.

In fact, a criminal case was opened on fraud on an especially large scale.
