A young man from Novomoskovsk, accused of robbery, was sent under house arrest

In Novomoskovsk, a 17-year-old local resident was charged with robbery under part 2 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. This is reported by the SU IC of Russia in the Tula region.

According to investigators, in September 2026, the young man attacked an unknown 40-year-old man on General Belov Street. He then stole a mobile phone, a gold ring and money. The amount of damage exceeded 50 thousand rubles.

At the request of the investigation, the court chose the accused a preventive measure in the form of house arrest. Investigators are now taking steps to recover the damage.

Criminal liability for robbery, robbery and theft comes from the age of 14, the maximum punishment for such crimes is imprisonment.

Earlier, “MK in Tula” reported that the Uzlovsky district court sent into custody two more accused of robbery on a local resident in the “Park of railway workers”. According to investigators, on the morning of September 5, they, along with the third defendant, beat the man with hands and a stick, took the phone for 90 thousand rubles and demanded a pin code.
