For a week, cameras in the Tomsk region caught more than 18 thousand fans of fast driving

On the roads of the Tomsk region, a system of video recording of traffic violations operates daily. After fixing the camera, the information is transmitted to the traffic police, processed, and after some time the car owner receives a receipt for payment of the fine by mail.

Over the past week, the system recorded 21,531 violations. Of these, 18,593 were overspeed. The main purpose of using video recording devices is to ensure road safety and reduce road traffic injuries.

Police officers remind residents of Tomsk and the region: on the road you need to be attentive and observe traffic rules.

For timely information about fines, police recommend registering on the portal “State Services”. It also allows you to pay fines, receive public services in electronic form, including registration of vehicles and replacement of driving licenses.
