For a week, rescuers of the Leningrad region extinguished 51 fires and eliminated the consequences of 40 accidents

Over the past week, units of the territorial fire and rescue garrison of the Leningrad region eliminated 90 emergency situations. This was reported in the press service of the EMERCOM of the Leningrad region.

During the reporting period, 51 fires were extinguished. 415 employees and 106 vehicles participated in the liquidation. We managed to save 9 people.

40 consequences of road accidents were eliminated: 215 specialists and 47 units of equipment were involved in the elimination of consequences. Thanks to the professionalism of the garrison, 34 people were rescued.

During four search and rescue activities in the forest area, 17 people and 6 units of equipment participated. We managed to save one man.
