During the day in the Smolensk region eliminated three fires

Over the past day, fire and rescue units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Smolensk region eliminated three man-made fires. One of the incidents occurred in the city of Safonovo on the street 1st Western, where broke out an apartment in a two-storey house. Despite the fact that the owner tried to cope with the fire on his own, two units of equipment and four employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene by calling witnesses. As a result of the fire on an area of 10 square meters were damaged personal belongings and shower.

In Desnogorsk in the third microdistrict recorded the fire of a car. The flames began to spread from the engine compartment while the vehicle was moving. The driver stopped the car in a timely manner and called firefighters, who arrived at the scene within a minute. As a result of the fire, the interior of the car completely burned out from the inside.

The most serious incident occurred in the village of Maltsevo Safonovsk municipal district, where a two-family house caught fire. Six firefighters and two pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. Experts suggested that the cause of the fire could be a violation of the rules of the device or operation of furnace heating. As a result of the incident, the building completely burned out from the inside, the roof and ceiling ceilings were also destroyed.

During the duty day, there were no incidents on water bodies, and the Emergencies Ministry units were not involved in the elimination of the consequences of road accidents.
