In Bremen, Germany, a conflict between two visitors to a disco ended with pepper spray and a mass exit of people from the building. Five people received respiratory irritation, one victim was hospitalized.

When the police arrived, unknown people began throwing bottles at the official car. This was reported on October 11 by local law enforcement officers.

The incident occurred at about 04:50 local time in the entertainment establishment of the Steintor district. According to preliminary data, between the two women there was a quarrel, during which the 32-year-old participant of the conflict used pepper spray.

The irritant spread through the room, causing breathing problems for five people. One of the victims required hospitalization. Information on the condition of the remaining victims police did not specify.

After the gas was sprayed, 50 to 70 visitors were forced to leave the disco. Emergency services arrived, but the situation remained tense.

According to law enforcement officers, during the police intervention, unknown people began to throw bottles at one of the patrol cars. Who exactly participated in these actions and whether the service vehicle was damaged, the initial report is not specified.

Additional police forces were required to restore order. After reinforcements arrived, the situation was stabilized.

In relation to the 32-year-old participant of the initial conflict, an investigation was launched on suspicion of causing bodily harm in a dangerous way. Information about her detention and formal charges is not yet available.

During the work of the emergency services, the police blocked Fort-dem Steintor Street for private transport. After the completion of the necessary measures, the restrictions were lifted.
