Resident of Energodar again caught drunk driving and lost Volkswagen

54-year-old resident of Energodar was convicted of repeated drunken driving and confiscated his car. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor’s office of Zaporozhye region.

In October 2025, the man was already punished for refusing medical examination. Then he was fined 45 thousand rubles and banned from driving for a year and a half.

His past punishment didn't stop him. In July 2026, a local resident drank at home, got behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Jetta and drove around the city. Employees of the traffic police stopped him in the area of the Avenue Energetik.

The driver refused to pass the medical examination again. The court ordered him to work 200 hours and banned him from driving for two years. The Volkswagen Jetta was confiscated into the state.
