In the Krasnoznamensky district, police detained a man who beat a friend with a cane. This was reported in the regional MIA.

According to police, the men were drinking together when there was a quarrel between them. During the conflict, the 38-year-old suspect twice hit a 42-year-old acquaintance with a cane on the head and left hand.

Medical examination found that the victim suffered harm to the health of moderate severity.

A man has been prosecuted. He faces up to three years in prison.
