A criminal case under part 3 of Article 30 and part 1 of Article 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was initiated against a 62-year-old resident of Torzhka, Tver region.
It was established that at night the man was walking along Dzerzhinsky Street and saw a parked Ford Fusion car. Deciding it was better to go than walk, he got into an unlocked car and tried to manually start the engine, but broke the ignition lock and could not leave.
In the morning, the owner of the foreign car called the police. The location of the attacker was soon established. He confessed to what he did.
