Resident of the Voronezh region received 10 years of strict regime for the murder of his wife

In the Petropavlovsk district of the Voronezh region sentenced 63-year-old man found guilty of the murder of his wife. As established by the investigation and the court, the tragedy occurred in may of this year in one of the houses of the village of Novy Liman.

In a state of alcoholic intoxication, amid protracted family conflicts, the man attacked his wife with a hammer, striking her many blows to the head, and then stabbed her several times in the chest. From the injuries, the woman died on the spot.

The evidence collected by investigators of the SU IC of Russia in the Voronezh region was considered sufficient for a conviction for murder. The next ten years, the guilty will spend in a correctional colony of strict regime.
