In Berdyansk, a court sentenced a 62-year-old local resident for stealing the pension of a deceased relative.

The woman was found guilty of stealing money from a bank account - she withdrew 18,600 rubles, which were received on the card of her deceased relative as a pension payment. The money belonged to the Pension and Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation in the Zaporozhye region.

After the fact of theft was revealed, the fund appealed to law enforcement agencies - during the inspection, the involvement of the woman was established. The court sentenced her to one year of probation and six months of probation.
