A resident of the Volgograd region was left without rights after an accident with a traffic police car
The magistrate of the Uryupinsky judicial district issued a ruling against a woman who made a collision with a DPS patrol car. She was prosecuted for refusing to undergo an intoxication examination.

As reported in the joint press service of the courts of the Volgograd region, October 4, 2026 at night near one of the houses on the street Fridek-Mistek in Uryupinsk, the auto lady drove a Chevrolet Cruz. She did not provide a safe distance and collided with a DPS patrol car, which was in its lane with flashing beacons on.
Police officers stopped the woman. She found signs of intoxication and offered to undergo an examination. However, she failed to comply with the lawful request of a police officer, thereby violating paragraph 2.3.2 of the traffic rules.
During the court hearing, the resident of the region fully agreed with the administrative protocol and only asked the femis officials not to punish her too severely. The court found her guilty under part 1 of article 12.26 of the administrative code of the Russian Federation and imposed a fine of 45 thousand rubles with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for 1 year 6 months. The decision has not entered into force and can be appealed.
