A resident of Dagestan was arrested for attacking a woman with a hammer

The court in Dagestan chose a preventive measure in the form of detention against a 38-year-old native of Kizlyar, suspected of attempted murder, the joint press service of the courts of the republic reports.

According to the materials of the case, on October 5, the suspect quarreled with a friend in the kitchen in a house in the Kumtorkalinsky district. During the quarrel, she struck the victim with a hammer on the head and face.

Leaving the victim, who could not move on her own, the attacker took her mobile phone and fled.

As a result of the attack, the victim caused serious harm to his health.

The Kumtorkala district court arrested the suspect until December 7, 2026 inclusive.
