A resident of Mariupol will be punished for repeated drunken driving

A resident of Mariupol of the Donetsk People’s Republic was detained for re-driving a car while intoxicated. A criminal case was opened against the driver (Part 2 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code).

As told in the press service of the regional Department of the interior Ministry, traffic police inspectors stopped the car, driving which was a 45-year-old man, previously convicted of driving a vehicle in a state of intoxication. During the inspection, law enforcement officers found that he was driving again in a state of alcoholic intoxication.

During the investigation, the motorist will be under a subscription not to leave. He can spend up to three years behind bars.
