According to investigators, in December 2024, Kurbatov, together with 17-year-old Kirill K., tried to set fire to a Muslim prayer house on Cannon Street in Serpukhov. There was no fire and the attackers were arrested.
Before the detention, Kurbatov worked as a cook in “Tasty – and period”, an accomplice studied at a local college. In the phone of the convict found instructions for the manufacture of incendiary devices.
