Resident of the Tver region was convicted in the case of drugs

In the Likhoslavl district court considered a criminal case against a local resident accused of illegal acquisition and storage without the purpose of selling narcotic drugs on a large scale, said the press service of the judicial body.

The materials of the criminal case indicate that the defendant collected parts of wild drug-containing plants, moved them, processed and received a large-scale drug that he stored.

In court, the defendant pleaded guilty to the crime.

The court, taking into account the evidence gathered and the circumstances of the case, appointed the convicted person six years of imprisonment in a strict regime colony. The sentence has not yet entered into force.
