According to People, 19-year-old Elijah Mays was arrested in Kentucky

According to People, 19-year-old Elijah Mays was arrested in Kentucky. He was charged with the murder of 11-month-old Grayson Walton, whom he was supposed to look after while the child's father was at work.
The story began on September 12, when the boy's father went to the police and reported that he could not find his son. According to the investigation, Mace initially claimed that the child was taken by a family friend. However, this woman told law enforcement that this did not happen.
After conflicting explanations, police obtained warrants to search several homes. In one, police found Grayson with no signs of life. According to People, the body was inside the sofa, and the child was visible bruises and marks, similar to bites. The official cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
Investigators believe Mace tried to create a false alibi. He could have sent a message from a fake number to confirm that another person had taken the child.
During searches, police also found a substance believed to be a drug.
Mays faces charges of murder, child abuse, falsification of evidence, abuse of remains and possession of a prohibited substance. He pleaded not guilty and remains in custody. The court set bail at one million dollars. The investigation is ongoing.
