The main benchmark of the Russian stock market following the results of the main session on Tuesday, October 6, increased by 0.38% to 2328.5 points. Its dollar counterpart RTS index decreased by 0.53% and amounted to 855.81 points.

MarketsBank of Russia Expert Council discusses credit rating issues

The Expert Council for the Protection of the Rights of Retail Investors at the Bank of Russia discussed the problems of credit ratings of issuers. They have deteriorated significantly recently – market participants drew the attention of representatives of the Central Bank, told “Vedomosti” Chairman of the Board of the Association of Institutional and Retail Investors (AIRI) Ilya Khersontsev, who attended the event.

MarketsFunds will be able to invest investors’ money in non-tradable instruments

The Bank of Russia has expanded the assets in which management companies will be able to invest funds from retail mutual funds (PIF). The corresponding decree, registered by the Ministry of Justice, the Central Bank published on September 23. The main part of the document comes into force 10 days after publication. It includes new opportunities for investing in non-tradable assets, crypto derivatives and machine places.
