The risk did not bring profitability to shareholders

Shareholders of stock funds - stock exchange and open stock - for three years did not receive a risk premium, their absolute return was only 6.76%. Expert RA came to this conclusion in a new review: the agency assessed the results of the funds from June 2023 to May 2026. The risk paid off only in precious metals funds. Their yield was 26.9% per annum, and the maximum drawdown lasted only three months.

MarketsFunds will be able to invest investors’ money in non-tradable instruments

The Bank of Russia has expanded the assets in which management companies will be able to invest funds from retail mutual funds (PIF). The corresponding decree, registered by the Ministry of Justice, the Central Bank published on September 23. The main part of the document comes into force 10 days after publication. It includes new opportunities for investing in non-tradable assets, crypto derivatives and machine places.

They have deteriorated significantly recently – market participants drew the attention of representatives of the Central Bank, told “Vedomosti” Chairman of the Board of the Association of Institutional and Retail Investors (AIRI) Ilya Khersontsev, who attended the event.
