On Friday, October 9, shares of the oil company LUKOIL fell by 1.95%, at a minimum they reached е5523.5 per share. This is evidenced by data at 10:31 MSK.

By 10:41, the fall slowed, the securities were trading at .5563.5, 1.24% lower than Thursday's close.

Quotes began to decline after reports that the LUKOIL Board of Directors recommended paying dividends of ,535 per share for the first 9 months of 2026. The dividend yield at the current price is 9.6%. The last day to buy for dividends is December 8.

“Quotations react with a slight decrease, which is quite justified – speculators want to record a profit after the growth of securities by 40% since the end of August,” analysts at Vector Capital noted.

The dividend policy of LUKOIL assumes payment to shareholders of at least 100% of the adjusted free cash flow (FCF). The indicator is defined as the net cash received from operating activities, less capital expenditures, interest paid, repayment of lease obligations, and the cost of buying shares of the company. The amount of the interim dividend is calculated according to the consolidated financial statements. LUKOIL usually pays dividends to shareholders twice a year.
